Sehome Neighborhood
The Sehome Neighborhood can be found on the northern and eastern slopes of Sehome Hill. This location offers fantastic views of Mt. Baker and the Canadian Cascades.
This is among Bellingham's oldest neighborhoods featuring several turn of the century structures as well as an array of Craftsman-style bungalows. In recognition of their architectural significance , 146 homes were recently placed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Sehome Hill Historic District.
Many residence of the Sehome Neighborhood enjoy the close proximity to two important Bellingham features: Western Washington University and Sehome Arboretum. The Sehome Hill Arboretum is jointly managed by the city and Western Washington University and offers

Most of your needs can be met at the south end of the neighborhood in Sehome Village featuring a Haggen supermarket and an array of small shops. Samish way offers several restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations.
Neighborhood students attend Lowell Elementary School, Fairhaven Middle School, and Sehome High School.
